With a book and lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, Spring Awakening is a rock musical inspired by Frank Wedekind's play about adolescence, identity, and the challenges of growing up. Its score includes songs such as “The Bitch of Living,” “Touch Me,” and “The Song of Purple Summer.” The show's blend of contemporary music and period setting has made it a distinctive title in modern musical theatre.

Check the event listing for performance details and any announced casting or opening-act information. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by seat, availability, and purchase timing.
Studio Seaview provides an intimate setting suited to a character-driven musical like Spring Awakening. In a smaller theatre, the audience can feel close to the performers and follow the emotional detail of the production. Seating layouts and sightlines can vary, so review the available seating map before choosing tickets.
For the most direct view of the stage, consider seats near the center and closer to the performance area, when available. Side or rear seats may still offer a good experience, though the precise view depends on the venue's configuration for this engagement.
Parking availability and rates can change, so confirm current details before heading to the theatre. Consider comparing nearby garages with public transportation options, particularly for an evening performance in New York.
